Galatians 3:8. The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
Luke 12:19-20. “I will tell my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.” But God said to him, ‘You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared—whose will they be?’”
Matthew 22:30. “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.”
Psalm 49:12-14. Man, despite his riches, doesn’t endure. He is like the animals that perish. This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who approve their sayings.
2 Peter 3:8. Don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
