“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.
God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. We are His witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house, testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard.
You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Don’t be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, “Behold, your God!”
“I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”
“It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid. I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”
“When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me. You will also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.”
He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.”
“Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
“This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
1 Peter 3:15-16.
I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.
Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who curse your good way of life in Christ.
2 Timothy 4:5.
Be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
