Acts 17:30-31. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.
Matthew 27:3-4. Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that Jesus was condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood.”
2 Corinthians 7:10-11. Godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death. In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.
