Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
Every kind of animal, bird, creeping thing, and sea creature, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind. But nobody can tame the tongue.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may you also do good, who are accustomed to do evil.
Can you send out lightnings, that they may go? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are?’
Can you draw out Leviathan with a fish hook, or press down his tongue with a cord? Can you put a rope into his nose, or pierce his jaw through with a hook? Will he make many petitions to you, or will he speak soft words to you?
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
“Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?”
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?
In hope of eternal life, which God, who can’t lie, promised before time began.
1 John 3:9.
Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God.

2 Timothy 2:15-17.
Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness, and those words will consume like gangrene.
