Angels


Acts 12:7. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side, and woke him up, saying, “Stand up quickly!” His chains fell off from his hands.

Colossians 2:18. Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.

Hebrews 12:22. You have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels.

Hebrews 13:2. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

Luke 2:15. When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Mark 1:13. He was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.

Mark 12:25. For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Matthew 28:5. The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified."

1 Thessalonians 4:16. The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet.

1 Timothy 3:16. Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.
