Overcome

Acts 11:28-29.
Agabus stood up, and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius. As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea.

Galatians 5:22-23. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.

Hebrews 13:5-6. Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.” So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Philippians 2:12-13. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

Philippians 4:7. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:31.
If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 12:14. Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.

Romans 12:18-21.
If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”  Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Corinthians 15:58. My beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Peter 4:8-9. Above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you; that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing.
