Highlights

These poster highlights are only a fraction of the 14,500 Bible verses available in the TalkToTheWord App.  They show key ideas in 1 Chronicles but there are many more PIB Scriptures that can be easily searched by Topic and Index, or in their full context

PIB Scriptures are derived from the World English Bible

1 Chronicles 7:24-25.
His [Ephraim's] daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth Horon the lower and the upper, and Uzzen Sheerah.

1 Chronicles 28:9. You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

1 Chronicles 28:20. David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.”

2 Chronicles 14:2-5. Asa did that which was good and right in Yahweh his God’s eyes: for he took away the foreign altars, and the high places, and broke down the pillars, and cut down the Asherah poles, and commanded Judah to seek Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment. Also he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the sun images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.

2 Chronicles 19:5-7.
He set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, “Consider what you do: for you don’t judge for man, but for Yahweh; and he is with you in the judgment. Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.”

2 Chronicles 34:1-3. Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign; and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, and walked in the ways of David his father, and didn’t turn aside to the right hand or to the left. For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherah poles, and the engraved images, and the molten images.
