Indignation


Ephesians 4:26-27. Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.

Ephesians 4:31. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.

Ephesians 6:4. You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Esther 3:5. When Haman saw that Mordecai didn’t bow down, nor pay him homage, Haman was full of wrath.

Galatians 5:19-21. Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

Genesis 49:7. Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel.

Luke 15:28-30. But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him. But he answered his father, ‘Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’

Proverbs 14:17. He who is quick to become angry will commit folly.

Proverbs 15:1. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
